How to apply for the school allowance?
Do your children live in Flanders?
Then you do not have to apply. Your right to a school allowance will be examined automatically. If you meet the conditions for a school allowance, your Groeipakket payment fund will automatically pay you the amount to which you are entitled.
However, you do need to apply for the higher education scholarship via www.studietoelagen.be.
Do your children not live in Flanders?
Then you can apply for the school allowance at one of the five Flemish Groeipakket payment funds. If you do not apply, you will still automatically receive the school allowance if you are entitled to it. But this can take longer.
