The school bonus (formerly known as the schoolpremie) is paid in August of each year for any child that was entitled to the Groeipakket in July. The school bonus is a boost at the start of the new school year.
Children who do not attend school yet also get the school bonus by way of financial support towards their education costs.
The amount of the school bonus depends on the child's age.
