Can I receive my own school allowance?

Adult children in secondary education who are married, self-employed or single receive the school allowance themselves. The school allowance is calculated based on the child's own income and if present, a cohabiting partner.

For Basisverpleegkunde (basic nursing training), there is no age limit for the school allowance. Adult students who no longer receive a Groeipakket can still apply for and receive a school allowance for themselves if they meet the conditions.
