Will my child still get a Groeipakket if it works on a regular contract?

To still be entitled to a Groeipakket, a teenager aged between 18 and 25 must not work more than 80 hours a month with a regular employment contract.

As long as the teenager works a maximum of 80 hours in the month with a regular contract, it is entitled to the Groeipakket. If the teenager works more than 80 hours with an regular contract in a given month, there is no entitlement to the Groeipakket for that month.

In addition, the teenager may:

not work more than 600 hours per year with a student contract
only pursue a self-employed activity in which no contributions are due as a self-employed person in main occupation.
