Am I entitled to increased child benefits for my child with a disability?

The Groeipakket provides a care allowance for children with specific support needs. 

You can apply for the care allowance at your Groeipakket payment fund. The assessment of your child's support needs will be done by an evaluating physician from Opgroeien.

The amount of the care allowance depends on the extent to which the child needs more support than peers.

If your child is entitled to the care allowance, both the basic amount and the care allowance can be granted until the month in which they turn 21.
