When is the starting amount paid out?

You can apply for the starting amount (startbedrag) with a Groeipakket payement fund (previously the child benefit society of kinderbijslagfonds) once you reach your sixth month of pregnancy.

The starting amount will be paid no earlier than two months before the estimated date of delivery. Your payer can pay the starting amount only after it has received the doctor's certificate.
