Can I receive information forms in French?

The Government of Flanders follows the language legislation in force. This obliges us to use Dutch in oral and written communication in Flanders. Information forms can therefore only be sent in Dutch. 

If you live in a municipality with language facilities, communication (telephone, letters, etc.) can also take place in French as soon after you request it. 

If you do not live in a municipality with language facilities, you can be assisted by an interpreter or trusted person who speaks Dutch.
